Intructions for virtual talks
- You do not need to upload your presentation in advance, but you must make sure you are able to share your presentation through Zoom before the conference starts. You can test it during the conference test session.
- Follow the instructions to access the virtual sessions. Please do so 10 minutes before your session starts.
- Use the chat to identify yourself as a speaker to the chair or the “Angel” of the room (conference staff).
- Share your presentation and turn on your video and microphone when the chair requests it. The buttons to share your screen, mute/un-mute the microphone, and start/stop the video are at the bottom of your Zoom window.
- Standard talks are 20 minutes followed by 3-4 minutes of discussion coordinated by the chair. Strict timing must be observed.
- When you finish, remember to stop sharing your screen and turn off the microphone and the video.
