Requirements to participate virtually in the conference
- Device (desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone) with a speaker, microphone, and webcam. A headset is advisable to avoid echo and improve audio quality. If your desktop does not have a microphone or webcam, please consider using a smartphone as an auxiliary device.
- A stable internet connection. At least 2.5 Mbps upload and download speed is advisable, which is typically met by a broadband internet plan or a 4G phone. A wired Ethernet connection is also advisable if possible.
- You can connect via the web or install Zoom on your device.
- Make sure that you use the same name and surname in Zoom as for the conference so that the conference staff can easily identify you.
- Check that your audio and video are working properly (watch this short tutorial video).
- The scientific programme webpage is optimized for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, so one of these browsers is advisable.
- You can test your device and connection during the test session on Saturday, the 12th of July (see Test session).
