Frequently Asked Questions or Problems
- Where can I find Zoom links?: Please follow the indications here to access the virtual sessions through Zoom. The virtual rooms are accessible only from the interactive programme (schedule), but you need to have a registration session opened in another tab to access.
- Where can I find the password?: The Zoom and Gather Town password are shown on the registration tool, and they are valid only during the testing day and the conference day.
- The password is not valid.
- Before the conference day: The passwords are valid only during the testing day and the conference day. Please wait until then to try.
- During the conference: Please make sure that there is no space before or after the password shown on the registration tool. If still not working, please refresh your browser and clean the cache or use another browser.
- I did not receive the zoom link/password by email: For security reasons, the zoom links will not be sent to the speakers by email, and the valid passwords will be available only on the day of the conference. Please follow the indications here to access the virtual sessions through Zoom.
- The password worked, but the host did not start the Zoom meeting yet: For security reasons, the zoom meetings will be open about 15 minutes before the sessions begin each day. Please wait.
- I opened the programme, but I cannot find the zoom links for the sessions: Please note that the virtual rooms are accessible only from the interactive programme (schedule), not from the static full programme. Please follow the indications here to access the virtual sessions through Zoom.
- I can see the abstract when I click, but I am not redirected to the zoom meeting: Please click on the session, not on the talk you wish to attend. Please note that the virtual rooms are accessible only from the interactive programme (schedule), not from the static full programme.
- I clicked on the session and got "Error accessing the rooms": You will be able to access the conference only if you have the registration tool opened with a registered user on another tab of the same browser. Please log into the registration tool, keep the session open, and try again to go to the interactive programme on another tab.
- My audio/video/screen sharing is not working: Please see here. Please make sure there is no conflict with other applications using sound/video, such as skype. If there is, please close it, enter Zoom again and give it the rights for sound and video. If nothing works, you can also connect with your smartphone. You can use Zoom on your smartphone for audio and video and Zoom on your PC to see/share the presentations.
