Title: Personalized health monitoring through AI and sensor technology

Abstract: Due to the advancement of computation power, sensing technologies, and data collection tools, the field of healthcare and public health monitoring and management has evolved over the past several decades under different names and application domains, such as statistical process control (SPC), process monitoring, health surveillance, prognostics and health management (PHM), personalized medicine, etc. There are tremendous opportunities in interdisciplinary research of personalized health monitoring through integration of AI, data analytics, and sensor technologies. In this talk views and experiences in the evolution of personalized health monitoring and management, its challenges and opportunities, as well as its applications in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer and Parkinson diseases will be presented.
