Abstract: The focus is on the estimation of regression coefficients in survival models with doubly censored data. It employs the GAFT (generalized accelerated failure time) model introduced in a past study to formulate the widely used PH (Proportional Hazards), PO (Proportional Odds), and AFT (Accelerated Failure Time) models in survival analysis. To enhance parameter estimation accuracy, a two-stage estimation approach is proposed, integrating the partial rank estimator outlined by a prior study along with model information. Subsequently, the proposed method's performance is assessed through simulation experiments with finite samples. Finally, the two-stage estimation method is applied to analyze a real HIV dataset.
