Title: Survival and failure time models with unknown dependent censoring Authors:  Ralf Wilke - Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) [presenting]

Abstract: A typical situation in survival analysis is that there is only interest in one risk, and some prior information about its distribution is available. At the same time, other risks are not of interest, and no information about risk dependence is available. A (semi)parametric regression model with unknown dependent censoring would be suitable, but existing approaches require restrictions on all marginal survivals, the censoring distribution, or the degree of dependence. Models are introduced without these restrictions on the other risks. These correspond to a single risk (semi)parametric model with unknown dependent and independent censoring. Applications with different data sets demonstrate the applicability of these methods. They give an estimate of the degree of risk dependence and of the marginal survival of the risk of interest.
