Abstract: Recently, a subclass of singular bivariate copulas, called non-atomic copulas, were introduced. We show that hairpin copulas are non-atomic. Furthermore, we prove that full hairpin copulas are not factorizable, that is they cannot be written as $L*R$ where $L$ and $R$ are left and right invertible copulas.
