Title: Practical methods for large and complex data

Abstract: Driven by the advances in technology, large and complex data have become the rule rather than the exception. We introduce novel approaches for the analysis of such data. These approaches apply to a variety of settings, including IV models and network learning. To avoid digression, however, we illustrate the key ideas mainly at the example of feature selection in regression.
