Abstract: In randomized clinical trials, the enrollment of subjects is often limited by time and costs, hindering valid statistical analysis. One approach to address this issue is utilizing readily available published summary data. However, this method encounters challenges due to potential differences in background information between the current study and external data. A method is proposed that facilitates the integration of potentially biased summary data, including observational data, without necessitating additional models typically associated with regression or propensity score models.
