Title: Construction of group doubly coupled designs

Abstract: For computer experiments with both qualitative and quantitative factors, doubly coupled designs (DCDs) are well suited to investigate the interaction effects between any two qualitative factors and all quantitative factors. The restriction of a DCD is that the number of qualitative factors cannot exceed the number of its factor levels. To break this restriction, group doubly coupled designs (GDCDs) are proposed, which can accommodate more qualitative factors than DCDs. Several methods are introduced to construct GDCDs with low-dimensional space-filling property for quantitative factors.
