Abstract: Testing homogeneity, that is, testing whether the data come from a homogeneous or a heterogeneous population, is one of the most important problems in multivariate mixture models. If the data come from a homogeneous population, there is no need to apply a mixture model. A new homogeneity test is considered for high-dimensional mixture data.
