Title: A Tale of Two Cities: Pessimism and Opportunism in Offline Dynamic Pricing Authors:  Zeyu Bian - University of Miami (United States) [presenting]
Abstract: Despite the growing body of research on dynamic pricing, the existing literature predominantly focuses on online settings. This work studies offline dynamic pricing under the minimal data coverage assumption, where some prices might not be observed, leading to a partial identification task. To address this challenge, we employ pessimism and opportunism strategies to tackle the unique issues posed by the lack of coverage. Extensive numerical studies are conducted to illustrate the effectiveness of our proposed framework.
