Title: An R package for QTL mapping and hotspot detection

Abstract: Statistical methods for QTL mapping and QTL hotspot detection have been well-developed and used in various areas of biological studies. Here, an R package called QTLEMM is attempted to provide, that implements some commonly used and popular statistical methods of QTL mapping and QTL hotspot detection to explore the genetic architecture of quantitative traits, as well as the networks among QTL hotspots, genes and quantitative traits. An R package is provided for QTL mapping and hotspot detection, and a comprehensive overview of the primary functions with numerical and graphical outputs is described.
