Title: IDEOLOG: A program for filtering econometric data

Abstract: The IDEOLOG program originated in the desire to compare some new methods of filtering with existing procedures that are common in econometric analysis. The outcome has been a comprehensive facility that will enable a detailed analysis of univariate econometric time series, as well as time series originating from many other investigations. The program will serve to reveal the extent to which the results of an economic analysis might be the consequence of the choice of a particular filter.
