Title: Analyzing spatial point data with object-valued marks

Abstract: Mark spatial point processes, where some additional information is available for each point location, appear frequently in a myriad of different disciplines. While the methodological toolbox is well-elaborated for spatial point process data with scalar-valued attributes, extensions to more complicated data settings with non-standard marks remain a widely open field of research. The framework of object-valued marks is introduced and recent developments are discussed in the analysis of various sorts of non-standard mark settings.
