Title: A simple heavy tailed cylindrical model and its applications

Abstract: While data with various angle and length pairs are frequently encountered in natural phenomena, cylindrical models to analyze them are still under development. A heavy-tailed cylinder distribution based on the Cauchy distribution is proposed. The main focus will be on exploring the statistical properties of the model, including marginal and conditional distributions, and parameter estimation for the model is also investigated. Finally, the methodology for data analysis utilizing the proposed heavy-tailed cylinder distribution is discussed.
