Abstract: The multilayer network model is considered, where all layers of the network have the same collection of nodes and are equipped with the generalized dot product graph (GDPG) models. In addition, all layers can be partitioned into groups with the same ambient subspace embedding, although the layers in the same group may have different matrices of connection probabilities. The model generalizes a multitude of multilayer network studies, where layers are equipped with the GDPG or various block models.
