Abstract: The uncertainty in the probability distribution of the response variable may have an important influence on the calculation of the optimal design of an experiment. The main goal is to study the effect of this uncertainty on the optimal design and to propose robust alternatives through compound optimal designs for generalized regression models considering usual probability distributions of the exponential family.
